Dear Sirs

I have installed iRedmail on a Centos 7.2 VPS before and all worked perfectly.
Now I am trying to do it again and I can't get over one issue:

I always get the error message that my login is worng:

Error: Username or password is incorrect.

But I am using the right login (also according to the iRedMail.tips file).

I can't figure out what I can do to debug this.
It's the third time that I am trying to do a clean iRedmail install on a clean CentOS system.

Can someone give me a hint into the right direction?

Any related log in /var/log/uwsgi/uwsgi.log? Can you login to we mail with this account?

Hi and thanks for the very quick reply.

Unfortunatley that log does not exist and no other logfile exists in that folder.
"cat: /var/log/uwsgi/uwsgi.log: No such file or directory"

I tried to lo into roundcube (/mail) with that postmaster longing and the error message is:

Connection to storage server failed.

Dovecot service is not running, please restart it and try again. But iredadmin issue doesn't related to dovecot.

Thanks for the tip.

Dovecot was really not started, which is strange because I rebooted a couple of times and I thought it would Autostart.
Anyways, thanks for that tip! ;-)

Now I get the "login failed" error message when I try to login to roundcube.
So something is wrong with my login.

I have a quite long password (27 digits). Might there be a restriction?

I might just install it a fourth time.

Maybe...

... there is a problem because I did the setup of the not functioning iRedmail installation with an iPad and the App vSSH.

Let's see. I will reinstall and post it here.Chris

I did another install from a Laptop (not via iPad and vSSH) and I gave a shorter password (12 digits).

Now all works fine.

So it was either one, i guess.

Hopefull helpful for someone else as well at some stage.
