Hi to everyone!
I just make a really big mistake!!!
I was trying to configure a second server as a backup mx. So i read this tutorial :

Steps to make this iRedMail as backup mx of several domains:
1: Create new mail domains with iRedAdmin. Of course they must be the same as domain names on primary server. e.g. example.com.
2: Update MySQL table "vmail.domain" manually, mark these newly created domains as backup mx. For example:
$ mysql -uroot -p
mysql> USE vmail;
mysql> UPDATE domain SET backupmx=1 WHERE domain='example.com';
As you can see in Postfix main.cf, we have this parameter:
relay_domains = $mydestination, proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql/relay_domains.cf
It will return 'example.com' as backup mx. You can verify it with below command:
# postmap -q 'example.com' mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql/relay_domains.cf
example.com           # <- This is what it returns
if you get the same output, then this backup mx should work as expected.
That's all.

But i  did all that things on the main server!!!
So now it doesn't work!
How can i reverse this operation?
I just do this "UPDATE domain SET backupmx=1 WHERE domain='example.com';"?

Just reverse your changes. Set backupmx=0.

Another question: Can you clarify the question of the backup?
With that procedure, if my main server is offline I continue to receive and send email without any problems?

On backup mx server, you should set the IP address of primary mx as relay server, and set 'backupmx=1' like below:

USE vmail;
UPDATE domain SET transport='relay:[xx.xx.xx.xx]:25',backupmx=1 WHERE domain='xyz.com';

Hi i've done what you say but if i turn off the primary server i cannot receive emails..
I updated dns on godaddy adding:
A HOST: backup.mydomain.com ----> point to my backup server
MX: backup ----> point to backup.mydomain.com

On the backup server (that run ubuntu) i set as hostname backup and as hosts 127.0.0.1 backup.mydomain.com etc. etc.
But it doesn't work!

Where is the error?

So 'backup.mydomain.com' is not resolvable in DNS? Just in /etc/hosts file?

I can ping backup.mydomain.com but if my main server goes down i can't send e-mails. Hosts and hostname are set properly

I notice that if my server goes down i see e-mail log in /var/log/mail.log, so the backup server works.
But if i try to connect from any client to my email server i can't!
