Hi,
This is more like general question not related to specific iredmail version.
I want to bcc all incoming/outgoing mail by some user. It's easy to be done.
What if after setting up BCC for user@domain.tld to user-bcc@domain.tld the  target BCC mailbox (user-bcc) will grow over quota?
Will sender get message user-bcc@domain.tld quota exceeded and all secret bcc will be compromised ? :-)

Re: BCC vs quota

user-bcc@ is a standalone mailbox, quota exceed notification will be sent to user-bcc@ itself, not 'user@'. Besides, you can set the mailbox quota to unlimited.

Re: BCC vs quota

Yes I get it but sometimes mail sender gets auto-reply that recipent has quota exceeded. That was my question.
will the original sender get the message that bcc-mailbox has quote exceeded ?

Re: BCC vs quota

Please either set unlimited mailbox quota to avoid it, or do a quick testing with a virtual machine. smile

Re: BCC vs quota

Did that. Everything is clear. The warning messages will be sent so unlimited is better option
