Topic: Wheezy migrate to Jessie with iredmail

- Linux: Ubuntu Debian Wheezy
Debian 3.2.73-2+deb7u2 x86_64 GNU/Linux
- Store mail accounts in: LDAP
- Web server: Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin

Hello again.
First things first everything is working fine.
The Staff decided to switch all systems to Debian Jessie so everything
is the same, Documentation reasons and so on.

How can i safely migrate to Debian Jessie and keep all the settings?
On my test VPS the migration failed. config where overwritten or change.

How did you migrate?

Possible migration paths:

1) Upgrade iRedMail to the latest iRedMail release first, once you're sure all services are working fine, upgrade Debian to Jessie.
2) Setup a new/fresh Debian server, migrate mail accounts and mailboxes to new server.

I did the first but postfix and dovecot configs are being renewed and are not working after migrating.
