Topic: Mail sending (?) error for hotmail.com, gmail.com, outlook.com, etc.

We can not deliver messages for some providers at least for a half year. sad We did everything as what we could, installed SSL, DMARC, SPF, DKIM, checking DNS black lists every hour, maintaining spam and virus filters. If we have a direct abuse report, we suspending the user manually as soon as possible, and we also maintaining a cron script (which runs in every 5 minute) as well, who checks if a user sends more emails as allowed and we suspend him automatically.

What else should we do?

You cannot send email to those providers? Any error message in Postfix log file when you send to them?

It's hard to help troubleshoot without related log.

Here is a header from a test mail today. We tried to contact the Microsoft support, but never got an answer, why we on blacklist are. We are not on DNSBL, and have green lights on hundreds of other blacklist monitors. hmm

Just click the link and check what the error code means. In your case, the error code is '550 SC-001':

550 SC-001

Mail rejected by Outlook.com for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your Email/Internet Service Provider for help.

Re: Mail sending (?) error for hotmail.com, gmail.com, outlook.com, etc.

Oh, we did it many times. The "policy reasons" error explanation is so deep mysterious what we can not interpret. What if dear Microsoft would give us more explicited error message? Be it private, we would happy and could tune our system. That is why I listed all of the security tasks what we did for a secure operation. sad

Why not contact outlook directly? they may give you some more hints.
