Topic: Email getting deferred

I have two mail server behind firewall ,on one server I am using Zimbra and on second amil server I have iredmail both the mail server have 2 different domains ,the problem is that I am not able to send and receive emails between my two mail servers,I am not sure what is the problem,is there any solution for this?

Well, what does `Operation timed out` tell you? Contact your network administrator, this is a network issue. Probably port 25 blocked.

If your mail servers are behind firewall than thay will not solve your hostname with public IP and you will get timeout error...

To get rid of this you should have a local bind running on your server .
