Topic: sogo 3.0?

Hi!

Now that SOgo Version 3 is released, is it also planned in future release upgrade of iRedMail or will
the version 2 still be used ? Seems both v2 and v3 are actively developed at the moment.

Re: sogo 3.0?

I was wondering the same, the new look/feel from Sogo 3 is a huge improvement.
I understood from the Sogo site, that Sogo 2 and 3 can run besides eachother, because under the hood they use the same engine.
So somehow I guess the difference is only in the template, but I bet that there are ppl over here who know this much better then me.
I would love to use the new one as well!

Cheers!

Re: sogo 3.0?

New iRedMail release will use SOGo v3. I hope sogo v3 could be more stable and usable.

Re: sogo 3.0?

Will it be in 0.9.4 or in 1.0 ?

Re: sogo 3.0?

Current stable iRedMail release is 0.9.4, we have no plan to switch to SOGo v3 in 0.9.4. it will be available in next release - 0.9.5.

If SOGo v3 is in ports tree, then yes, we will go v3.

Re: sogo 3.0?

UPDATE: Next iRedMail release (0.9.5) will switch to SOGo v3.

For FreeBSD, it still relies on ports tree.
