Hi,

I followed the guide on this site for installation .
I set the host file and fireup the install .
It asks me mail domain and if i use apache , also it asks a password for postmaster and if i want to use mysql .
But it never ask my sql password like in the manual ..
So when i browse to the domain i get an database error on roundcube .
How do i fix this database password problem ?

i found the information here
or login with your postmaster account in roundcubemail.
there should be an email with all the informations

Read file /root/iRedMail-x.y.z/iRedMail.tips first, it contains:

URLs, usernames and passwords of web-based applications

Re: iredmail installer doesnt ask mysql password

iRedMail-0.9.3 installer doesn't prompt you to input MySQL/PostgreSQL root password, because it generates a random and strong one automatically. You can find it in file "iRedMail.tips" under iRedMail directory.
