Re: 504 smtp auth error

The log says:

Oct 23 06:45:10 mail sm-mta[12690]: t9MKm9tS003237: to=<root@mail.pitastrudl.me>, ctladdr=<strudl@mail.pitastrudl.me> (1000/1000), delay=07:57:01, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, pri=4350760, dsn=4.0.0, stat=Operating system error

You're running Sendmail as MTA, not Postfix. Please stop sendmail service first, then start Postfix service, and it should work.

Re: 504 smtp auth error

purged the instalation of sendmail, reinstalled postfix, installed postfix-mysql, restarted iredmail service and postfix service now sending works, working on the receiving part. Gmail returns this email:
http://pastebin.com/73cEQwcG

mail.log says this,
http://pastebin.com/TriMvmgG

Re: 504 smtp auth error

Your setup is not an iRedMail server, because you don't have iRedMail default settings or even based on iRedMail default settings.

I suggest you reinstall OS, then install iRedMail.
