Hello, I am using the iredmail server for several months (so far I am very happy) and I would like to know how I can manage to have two servers.

Does Ireadmail support this setup and how can I accomplish it. What are the possibilities.

The reason I want the second server is in case the first one goes down.

Thank's

So you're talking about a fail-over cluster. You can try haproxy + keepalived, or other open source cluster softwares. smile

For now, I do not want to invest on many servers  because I need to 3-4 servers to have a good-fail-over cluster and I am not ready yet because it takes times and budget too.

For example, will it work well, if I simply do master-master mysql copy to another server and also copy every change happen to the main server  to the clone server at the best real time possible.

And when the main goes down, I can simply change the IP of the mx record and I will get the mail and send mail from the clone server.

How will Ireadmail will react on that ? Mean, will it work if I do a manual fail-over tongue

Also, do you guys provide any server for fail-over cluster solution.

Thank's
