Topic: Didn't exactly go the way I wanted.

I just downloaded and installed iredmail on a lubuntu lenove laptop.
My wife and I bought a domain name and wanted to host a mail server since we have a static IP.
okay so I installed it, was told to give a password upon setup for the admin account. But it will not log in.
How do I go about uninstalling it and re installing it so I can try it again?
Unless there is a trick to get into the admin account from the server (laptop).
Please help, I assume I will have a lot of questions as the month goes by.

Re: Didn't exactly go the way I wanted.

*) Any error message during iRedMail installation?
*) Did you input any special characters as MySQL root password? e.g. @, $, #.
*) We don't have a script to uninstall iRedMail, you need to reinstall OS, then install iRedMail.

Thank you, that is exactly what happened.
Is there no way for me as the admin of the machine go in and change the MySQL password?

Re: Didn't exactly go the way I wanted.

You can either reinstall the entire system and then reinstall iRedMail, keeping a good note on what you type in.
If you choose this option, I'd recommend using CentOS 7 (as it's just easier to install IRM onto in my opinion).

What are you having issues logging in to? https://yourserverip/iredadmin can be logged into by using postmaster@yourdomain.com and the password you entered on setup.
