Hi!

I'm just wondering, when new security fixes come out for example apache, mysql, postfix, dovecot...what have you. Updating those packages is safe? I mean, iRedMail will not stop functioning because of those fixes?
Just wondering.

Cheers

Re: Upgrading packages on system

You are safe to update things, apt-get upgrade will 99% of the time not break anything, only if a package changes it's config structure, which sometimes happens with apt-get dist-upgrade
