Re: System Upgrade

*) Postfix has great backward-compatibility, so it's safe to upgrade it.
*) Dovecot: Dovecot-2.x has different configurations than Dovecot-1.x, so if you upgrade from Dovecot-1.x, you should backup Dovecot config files first, then follow this tutorial to upgrade its config files:
http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic4493 … tos-5.html

It's safe to upgrade Dovecot from 2.1.x to 2.2.x.

Other components are safe to upgrade.

Re: System Upgrade

I have:
dovecot-pigeonhole-0.4.6           <   needs updating (port has 0.4.8)
dovecot2-2.2.15_2                  <   needs updating (port has 2.2.18)
postfix-2.11.3_3,1                 <   needs updating (port has 2.11.5,1)

So I'll update them all.
