I know we have talked about cluebringer and ipv6 many times. And we all know cluebringer does not support ipv6. However nothing has been done to move forward to get rid of cluebringer at all. I already skip cluebringer entirely using  smtpd_restriction_classes if it comes to an ipv6 connection since more than 12 month.

My question now are

1. What features in iredmail still rely on cluebringer?
2. What is the status of the iredmail development to get rid of cluebringer?

I only code Perl and PHP but i am willing to dive into Python if needed to help removing cluebringer for ever.

Regards

Michael

Re: Cluebringer and IPv6 ... again

We have plan to drop cluebringer since developers are not active on this project due to lack of sponsor. First phase is developing greylisting and throttling plugins for iRedAPD and remove Cluebringer entirely.

mensmaximus, if you are interested in writing an iRedAPD Plugin for either of these then it'd help the project massively.
