- iRedMail version: 0.9.1
- Store mail accounts in which backend MySQL
- Web server Apache
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Debian 8.0 with sysvinit (Proxmox old Kernel)

Problem: iRedApd Daemon is not running. Sysv Init Scripts are missing.

Solution: update-rc.d iredapd defaults

Note: this happens only if you install sysvinit instead of systemd. In my case I cannot use systemd because debian runs as an OpenVZ guest on a host with older kernel (systemd not supported).

Unfortunately, we just test standard Debian (Jessie) installation with systemd, cannot afford to test it with SysV. That means you have to fix it yourself, and the fix won't be committed to iRedMail.
