Topic: Bad server performance / how to uninstall SoGo ?

I'm runnning iredmail on a 512MB RAM VPS (2GB swap)

First install was running fine.
2nd install (this time incl. SoGo) turned into a performance nightmare.
I can't even read my inbox - as soon as I click anywhere system freezes (loading message notice keeps rolling).

I don't know exactly what's happening - my system memory doesn't seem to be maxed out (CPU at around 80% / swap around 20%) so I'm suspecting SoGo.

Does anybody know how to completely remove it?

P.S.: I did rescale my VPS to 1GB RAM and it didn't change my performance problem a bit (so I downscaled back).
Loading message keeps spinning. Maybe there is another error somewhere I didn't find yet.

ClamAV/SpamD/AmavisD will struggle on less than 1G, so expect them to crash. (Since you have swap, instead of crashing they will probably just hang/be really slow)
Removing SOGo is as easy as removing its package, apt-get remove sogo*

thank you 7t3chguy !
I removed SoGo - rebootet and problem is still there.

I'm just checking my list of possible errors here:
I also manually updated NGINX from "iredmail default" (don't know version) to nginx v1.4.6.
My reason was to enable spdy support.

Coould the nginx upgrade be a problem?

Nope. I'm running an even newer version
