Hi,

I can send emails to all providers (including gmail) but cannot receive emails from gmail (all others tested are fine). I have disabled greylisting. Here are examples of my mail.log showing examples of mail accepted and gmail rejected (addressed redacted).

I have googled everywhere as to whitelisting gmail.com, but I understand you can no longer whitelist a domain in this version (IPs only). Please confirm this. I have also tried adding 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0 to whitelists in mail.myserver.com/cluebringer and restarted postfix-cluebringer, but the results stay the same.

It could be the fact that GMail is connecting from IPv6. Or a malformed header. Is the TO address same as in the working example?

If your mail server doesn't have IPv6 address, please set 'inet_protocols = ipv4' in Postfix config file /etc/postfix/main.cf.

Hi and Thanks for the quick replies. This is working now -

7t3chguy - the TO address is indeed the same.

ZhangHuangbin - Though I do have  ipv6 addresses (both internal and external) on the mail server, setting 'inet_protocols = ipv4' in Postfix config file /etc/postfix/main.cf resolves the issue.

Is there anything else I can check as to why I can't receive mail via ipv6? (Also, should I create a new topic for that?)

If you have IPv6 address on server, your mail server should accept emails sent from Gmail.

Cannot figure it out with pasted log, is it possible to let me login to your server and do some further debug?
Note: ssh access is preferred, root privilege is required to modify config files and check log files. If you don't want to share password, please add my ssh public key in file ~/.ssh/authorized_keys of the ssh account, and mail me (zhb _at_ iredmail dot org) your server address and ssh account.

Turns out it's caused by Cluebringer-2.0.10 installed on your server. This version doesn't support IPv6.

According to Cluebringer web site (http://wwww.policyd.org/), the latest stable version v2.0.14 was released on Oct 26, 2013. version 2.0.15 was tagged 6 months ago, but no public download link available on web site.

This is a bad situation.

UPDATE: my last post was incorrect. tag 2.0.15 is just a development tag, not a final release.

But the truth is, no new version after Oct 26, 2013.

That is unfortunate. I hope development hasn't stopped completely. IPv4 will still be around for a long while, at least.

Don't worry, I do want to replace Cluebringer by iRedAPD, still need some more time. I'm busy refactoring iRedAdmin-Pro to merge iRedAdmin-Pro-MySQL and iRedAdmin-Pro-PGSQL.

I asked in Cluebringer mailing list about when we will have a new stable release (after Oct 26, 2013) moment ago, i got answer from developer: "when it's ready". Another mailing list member explains that developers have full-time job so we have to be patient and wait for developers to have some spare time to work on Cluebringer.

Personally, i totally understand the situation, i just don't want to use it if it is not under active development for a long time, and saying "when it's ready" is not cool at all. [don't get me wrong, i respect open source software developers, i just don't like the situation.]
