Topic: LDAP database access - v0.90

Hi all

I am always using mysql as backend during my testings, but now I decided to use ldap to perform integration with other softwares.

My problem is: How can I read the ldap database created by iredmail ?

webmin said
The LDAP browser cannot be used : The password in the LDAP server configuration is encrypted and cannot be used by Webmin

I also tried phpldapadmin by I am not able to login:
* LDAP root dn: cn=Manager,dc=xguard,dc=xg, password: 123456

error:
Could not start TLS. (My LDAP Server)
Error: Could not start TLS. Please check your LDAP server configuration.
error    Unable to connect to LDAP server My LDAP Server
Error: Can't contact LDAP server (-1) for user
error    Failed to Authenticate to server
Invalid Username or Password.

do you have a easyway to read this database ? thanks

Disable starttls in phpldapadmin config file should fix your issue.

Hi all,

I also tried phpldapadmin.

I am not able to login too.

I tried to disable starttls but i can't login.

The same result : "Unable to connect to LDAP server My LDAP Server".

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @ptiloo,

Please always create a new forum topic for your own issue/question, do not hijack other's topic.

If you cannot login, please make sure openldap service is running and you can query ldap server with command line tools, e.g. 'ldapsearch'. If ldap server is running, try to debug phpldapadmin. make sure you have correct settings in phpldapadmin.

This is deprecated code to config phpLDAPadmin in iRedMail, as you can see, iRedMail doesn't change many settings:
