Why would my server be refusing connections?
>> mail.myserver.com[X.X.X.X]:25: Connection refused)

I am using a spam filter where i point my DNS to their MX servers, they screen it and then all the email comes to me from their IP address.  But I can't find anything that should be limiting connections from their IP address.
Some messages are delayed for hours (sometimes 12 hours) and other mail comes right in.  I don't understand what is happening and the "connection refused" is all the info I'm getting from the spam company.

The server load is low.  I haven't added any throttles, unless they are there by default.

Any ideas on what is behind refused connections?

Thank you!

Could you explain this a little more as to me, this statement is a little bit confusing.
