Topic: httpd service not running

Hi everyone,

There seems to be something weird going on with iRedMail. When I checked the httpd status, It's stopped. When tried to restart, It just failed to do so, though I'm still able to open iRedMail, Roundcube and index.html file.

I'm not able to run the php scripts. When I put a simple php file in /etc/www/html folder with dummy echo statement, nothing's displayed when I load that file. Neither the content of the php file is displayed as it is nor there's any error. Not sure what's wrong.

Is iRedMail interfering in some way with its default settings? Any idea folks what am I missing? Thanks.

Did you choose nginx at installation? Then you'd have both httpd and nginx but nginx would be running the show.

Re: httpd service not running

Looks like caused by this known bug:

The topic contains a fix.

Re: httpd service not running

Don't remember when I chose the nginx server but yeah the nginx server was running and I just stopped it and started apache server. Now it's working fine.

Zhang, yeah I just saw the related bug but changing the server worked fine for me.

Anyway, thanks folks for your valuable time and awesome piece of code this iRedMail is.
