Dearest People, I recently installed iRedMail and it works like a charm out of the box.
However I really don't want the url to be mydomain.com/iredmail so I wanted to move it to a subdomain by using a virtualhost. However when i did this it just points to the directory and the python scripts are being shown as plaintext.

Anyone have an example how I should configure the virtualhost?
If you need any more information just ask and I'll try to provide.

You should check Apache document to see how to setup virtual host. For iRedAdmin related setting, check /etc/httpd/conf.d/iredadmin.conf and /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf for reference.

Apache document: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/

Yes, I know how to set up apache virtual domains. I did this, but I cannot seem to get the iredmail admin to work. Probably cause I don't have enough knowledge about python.

You don't need to know Python, just copy config from Apache config file which was generated by iRedMail.

* /etc/httpd/conf.d/iredadmin.conf
* /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf

Choose the settings you need.
