Hi

I have the following issue

http://www.mail-tester.com/web-iAATn6

When I try to test my email in mail-tester. when I enter hostname in terminal it says pandaserver and if I use hostname -f I get pandaserver.pandapixl.nl in iRedMail I used pandaserver.pandapixl.nl by the way... and I am planning to use several domains.

pandapixl.nl is just the domain I want to use. What did I do wrong and how to fix this?

Re: Problems with hostname

Dear reshadfar,

You should follow the instruction provided by mail-tester if you want to pass all its tests.

According to its links, rDNS is reverse DNS, looks like you didn't have it in DNS records.

mail-tester.com wrote:

We didn't find a mail server (A Record) behind your hostname pandaserver.pandapixl.nl.

We check if there is a mail server (A Record) behind your hostname pandaserver.pandapixl.nl.
You may want to publish a DNS record (A type) for the hostname pandaserver.pandapixl.nl or use a different hostname in your mail software.

It's very clear: No A record for hostname 'pandaserver.pandpixl.nl'.
