Topic: Mail Responder

I have iRedMail installed (have had it for approx 2 years; upgraded once)...

I would like to set up a mail responder... the idea is that I would give an email address to interested parties and they would send an email to an email address on the server.  The server would check to see if their email address existed in a list and if it did it would send back an attachment; if they did not exist in the list it would reply with a response that said their request was pending and at the same time it would send an email to the list administrator with the email of the original requestor.

Any suggestions on how I could integrate this functionality with my installation?  (I understand procmail is no longer supported)

Regards
Nivag

Re: Mail Responder

I'm afraid that you have to create your own Postfix transport program to handle email and do operations you want. Default transports don't have this feature.
