Topic: email alias in same domain but global address book does not appear

- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 14.04.1 server LTS

I added an email alias to some users using the attribute "shadowAddress" and I login in RoundCube with both addresses.
The problem is that with the alias does not display the global address book.
In the forum I read that if the domain is different the search does not return anything (http://www.iredmail.org/forum/post16075.html#p16075), but in my case the domain is the same.
Is this normal?
