Topic: How can I remove the amavisd from iredmail? Any impact?

I found the nested MAIL command happened occassionally and seems the problem cannot be fixed.  So I would like to know any impact if remove amavisd from the system.  Also how can I remove it?  please advice.  Thanks.

Comment out 'content-filter' line in postfix main.cf.

Warning: If amavisd was disabled, you will lost some features:

  • DKIM signing and verification

  • SPF verification

  • Signinig disclaimer on all outgoing emails

  • Content-based anti-spam

  • Anti-virus

It's using 2.6.2, already added the

smtp_connection_cache_enable = no
smtp_connection_cache_on_demand = no

but still happening~ all the time.

According to my information, you have to set them to '0', and not 'no'.
Have you tried that as well?
