Trying to get the postlogin tracking too work as per http://www.iredmail.org/forum/post1669.html#p1669

but seems that the variables arent getting exported - its hitting the script but its all the same entries

2014.07.02-11:22:35, , , imap
2014.07.02-11:22:36, , , imap

no IP or USER

Also on dovecot restart i get this warning:

As mentioned in the tutorial link you pasted:

This tutorial is written for Dovecot-1.x. If you have Dovecot-2.x running, please refer to official tutorial.

the problem with the linked tutorial is it mentions

service imap { }
whereas in the redmail setup its
protocol imap { }

or am i missing something obvious smile (wouldnt suprise me)

*) Did you upgrade Dovecot from Dovecot-1.x to current 2.0.21?

Its centos 6.x and no it was a straight install using iRedMail-0.8.3.tar.bz2 a few months back

I suggest you follow this tutorial to upgrade Dovecot config file:
