Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

It cannot fetch required file, you can try to find it with Google, then download it manually and copy it to /var/ports/distfiles/ as mentioned.

Search "index of dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole-0.4.2.tar.gz" will give you many result.

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

OK, I have managed to install iredmail. I have copied dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole-0.4.2.tar.gz from  http://pigeonhole.dovecot.org/releases/ … 4.2.tar.gz and setup seems to be finished succesfully.

Now there is another problem, iredadmin returns internal server error, roundcube is not able to connect to database. Never had such problems with iredmail in the past..

What's the related log in Apache log file?

SQL passwords of "vmail" user in /usr/local/etc/postfix/mysql/*.cf are incorrect. Looks like your iRedMail installation was not successfully completed.

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

Just to add that it was a clean updated FreeBSD 10 release-p3 with ezjail on board... How to complete the installation?

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

And I am able to connect to MySQL:

root@mx1:/usr/local/etc/postfix/mysql # mysql -u root -p
Enter password:

This is safe to ignore.

*) Did you have MySQL installed before iRedMail installation?
*) Did you type the correct MySQL root password during iRedMail installation?

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

Dear ZhangHuangbin,

Yes, of course! That was a fresh installation of FreeBSD 10 Release, freebsd-update fetch/install (makes it 10-p3), ezjail, and iredmail inside ezjail using this tutorial: http://www.iredmail.org/wiki/index.php? … eeBSD.Jail

Would you please check if this should work on the latest FreeBSD or no? What could you suggest to do next?

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

I don't know what happened on your server, can you reproduce it with a new/fresh FreeBSD 10?

15

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

Hi ZhangHuangbin,

OK, thank you, I will try to do this again so.

Re: FreeBSD 10.0 in ezjail - problem

Dear ZhangHuangbin,

I have reinstalled everything with default ezjail settings (jails are in /jails and not /var/jails like I changed this before) and all seems to be great! Thank you for your help here!

Cheers
