Are we free to upgrade roundcube webmail to the latest (1.0.0) if we wish? what implications could this have on the default iredmail build configuration? Thanks.

Re: Roundcube upgrades

well, i proceeded with it but had 1 issue (resolved now):

the installto script reported error when updating the db schema.

i had to restore my old rc version's files, edit the db config file (rc) and change the user to the postgres user, then re-ran the update. it then worked fine. I then changed the config file back to the roundcube db user.

it still did report a warning though:
WARNING: Mimetype to file extension mapping doesn't work properly!
Please check the 'mime_types' config option and run this script again.

but it did report successful update completion so i assume this isn't a critical error. what does it relate to? does it speak of:

/etc/mime.types or

/var/www/roundcubemail/config/mimetypes.php

or neither and something else?

Re: Roundcube upgrades

nevermind, i found the rc included mimetypes.php file and edited the defaults rc conf file and hard coded that path/file and it's fine.
