Topic: per-user amavisd controls

Will the iRedMail installation support the Squirrelmail plugin amavisdnewsql? (http://squirrelmail.org/plugin_view.php?id=224)?
Is it a simple drop in, or would configuration be needed to put the amavis/spamassassin settings into mysql?
Thanks.

No plan to implement this feature in 0.5.0.

You can contribute the HOWTO/step-by-step document to help us implement it. smile

HI.
Amavis a way for users to use this in http://www200.pair.com/mecham/spam/bypassing.html,
I ZhangHuangbin cooperate, explains how to do the filtering from domains to users,
but it is advisable to select users, and maintain control over them.
I use and works perfectly.

Re: per-user amavisd controls

I'm not looking for a way for users to bypass scanning, but for a way for them to control their own threshold levels on when a message is tagged a spam and when it is moved to the Junk folder.
I read some on this and it looks like I need to change amavis to use a mysql database to facilitate this.
Thanks.

It seems what you need is managesieve and a webmail interface for user to customize the mail filter rules, iRedMail already has it.
