Topic: Mail-push? Funambol or...?

I'm already using iRedMail and I'm greatly satisfied (and my customers too). They only complains about the long time it takes mails to arrive in their mailbox... but they can accept this since they are not receiving spam anymore.

What they are asking for is a full corporate mail-push solution. Mail-push doesn't mean only "real time mail delivery" (no one seriously misses it): most wanted features are contact and calendar sync.

I would like to build up a test environment to try iRedMail and Funambol. Did anyone already try it? Suggestions? Alternatives?

Thx

Thanks for the hint!
Which backend did you use to get contact/calendar sync?

Confused. What do you mean 'join your success story with z-push'?

Sorry for my confused post; but I mean your implementation, e.g. your values in  "z-push/config.php" ?

Hi!

I have a strange issue with z-push 2.0.7 Running on a clean CentOS 6.4 (Final) using iRedMail suite.

I've set it up using the IMAP backend and mails are pushed to my mobile device (Stock Android 4.2.2 on Galaxy Nexus).

When downloading attachment from android it gives few errors (4/5) then finally downloads the attachment.

But yet I'm unable to forward the email with the attachment. If sent inline the sent email is empty, if sent as attachment, the attachment cannot be parsed correctly.

See attached log for detail regarding the issue.

I've posted this same question in z-push forum because I don't know if it's a z-push bug/misconfiguration or something regarding my iRedMail configuration.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT - I've just noted that this thread is 3 years old sad

hi pindemon,

It's better to post your issue/question to Z-Push mailing list to get better support about z-push.

I saw this error in your log:
