Topic: Basic Question, remove /mail from url

- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySql
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 12.04

Sorry for being putting something extremely basic.

I want to change mail.mydomain.com/mail to mail.mydomain it shouldnt append /mail at the end. other urls for adminpanel, phpmyadmin and everything else is just fine

Some previous post mentioned changing of document root in apache2 but a little more detail would help a lot of other guys here like me.

Edit /etc/apache2/sites-available/default and default-ssl, set value of parameter DocumentRoot to root directory of Roundcube, /usr/share/apache2/roundcubemail.
