Topic: What if you already have some installed?

- iRedMail version: 8.2
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Tried to install it with MariaDB already installed and it errors out with:
Setting up mysql-server-5.5 (5.5.24-0ubuntu0.12.04.1) ...
start: Job failed to start
invoke-rc.d: initscript mysql, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing mysql-server-5.5 (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of mysql-server:
mysql-server depends on mysql-server-5.5; however:
  Package mysql-server-5.5 is not configured yet.

No apport report written because the error message indicates its a followup error from a previous failure.

Is there a way to tell it not to install MySQL? I know I told it to ignore phpMyAdmin (as its installed also) but didn't see an option for MySQL.

Any help would be appreciated.

Or I suppose I could install another Database option

OK tried to go with PostgreSQL but it still failed at MySQL... help would be appreciated.

Please use a FRESH os instead.
