Topic: Upgrading 0.7.2 to 0.8.1

==== Required information ====

I would like to upgrade to 0.8.1 but have an very active server with over 130 users and 5GB mail.  what do you have by way of a suggestion to upgrade?

Upgrade individual components?
Do I have to go through 0.7.2-0.7.3, 0.7.3-0.7.4.... (I really hope not!)

Appreciate suggestions.  This is a business critical server and therefore the upgrade must not fail or take the server offline for more than about an hour.

Thanks
Tucker

Sorry, you have to.
As mentioned in document page: http://www.iredmail.org/doc.html#upgrade_tutorial

Usually, upgrading iRedMail is just updating some config files to achieve new features or fix bugs, you do NOT need to download the latest iRedMail and run the script.

Note: Upgrades are only supported from one release to the release immediately following it. Do not skip releases.

OK. Then is I build a new server how easy is it to migrate all my content?  e.g. I leae the existing server alone, then build a new oe with 0.8.x and the migrate all mail.

Is there a process for this?

Thanks
