Hi I have setup a mailserver using iRedMail with following settings :

hostname of server : mx01.example.com
IP of the server : 68.68.3.XX
first domain name  : example.com
virtual domain 1 : people.com
virtual domain 2 : world.com

Please let me know the mx record entry for each domain with A record for public IP.

Will A record point to same public IP 68.68.3.XX or I have to have 3 public IPs?

What will be excat MX record entry for all the three domains ?

Re: DNS entry for 3 virtual Domains

You can set the mx record for each domain into each DNS zone as:

MX mx01.example.com

and only in DNS zone example.com you need to create a single A record like:

mx01 type A 68.68.3.XX
