Sorry, what do you mean "still not working"?
Did you restart Amavisd service? Is it running now? If not, what's the error log in its log file (/var/log/maillog)?

It seems that amavisd is working on two different port, 10024 and 10025
here are .conf file that I find and downloaded.
I tried to modify it but I don't know how in freebsd.
I tried with winscp but my user are not anabled to change, only root can, but winscp and port 22 will not login with root user.
I don't know how modify with root from command line, I'm not very good with linux.
freebsd have a very strong security policy, really very difficult for me.

amavisd stop suddendly after start, I see the messeges below on tail, maybe this is the problem I don't know.
At the moment I have 11 email domain not working from 6 days ... they kill me...

As you can see amavisd relaod send a messages that is active, it restart but all messages send are lost.
I'm afraid and in a black hole...

Did you config these mail domains to use "private/amavis" as mail transport? I don't know what it is. Mail transport should be "dovecot" by default.

No, no I didn't nothing.!
I do the installation on freebsd 8.2 last August, everithing has gone well untill last week. I was surprised to not recive mail and I call some customer and made a test I simpli didn't recive mail for an mistery error.
I'm not able to do anything on Linux, you remember I work on Ibm i As400 not so close to linux...
Now I'm surfing on google and triing some fix but it is very very difficult for me even open a .conf file with an editor...

master.cf instead is different, in this link the say about a tab, can you have a look to my master.cf if is compliant to your favoluos iredmail configuration.? this is my last chance before reinstall everything (but first I have to know how backup all domain, user and mail and restore after reinstalling all )

maybe solved :

i have change to

content_filter = smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024

it seem works now, but I have to wait Monday ...

I don't know what would happened I sure not change .cf file, before now I didn't know their existence
