Topic: how can I bypass the receiving e-mail delays ?

Hello Folks,

I have installed the iredmail v 0.7.3 and now I am testing it out to see if it could actually replace our current e-mail server.

Although the messages seem to eventually come in, it looks like they get an awful delay to arrive.

After some homework, I realize that this is a kind of  "feature" in order to minimize spam and that would be fine in a production server if the administrators wish so.

But while the iredmail server is being tested, I don't see that positively as it becomes difficult to discern if the message didn't come thru at all or it is being just delayed.

Therefore, I would like to know how to disable this delay or if it is possible to set it up to a specified time.

I appreciate any leads.

Thank you.

It's greylisting, mails will arrive in about 15 minutes.

You can disable it according to this http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic2720 … moval.html
