Topic: Does iRedMail support backup/restore

Hi,

There is generic question not specific to any installation. I am thinking of migrating our current Exchange mail system to iRedMail. However, I did not see backup/restore features listed in the description. Anybody has ideas on whether it is supported or not? Real experiences restoring server would be even interesting.

In addition, how easy is it to switch hardwares, for example, migrating from old servers to new servers etc.

iRedMail doesn't support restore from Exchange backup file, you have to migrate mail accounts and related data (mailboxes, etc) manually.

About "switch hardwares", iRedMail has basic hardware requirements, that is 512MB of memory for basic anti-spam/virus scanning with Amavisd-new.
