Topic: Dovecot unable to contact Ldap after restart

Error logs in dovecot.log
Aug 25 14:35:35 auth(default): Error: LDAP: Connection lost to LDAP server, reconnecting
Aug 25 14:35:35 auth(default): Error: LDAP: Can't connect to server: 127.0.0.1:389
After restarting of my server, I am unable to send and receive mails.
I have checked the dovecot log, it is showing the logs like above and i tried to restart the ldap server and starting it again,but it is of no use.
Please help me to make my server work.
