Topic: [SOLVED] Moving vmail from /var to another location on same server.

Hi,
Initially I have given the save location as "/var" (by default) for vmail, in which var is with in the root(/) and it is not in the separate partition, now my partition which is consisting of "/" is almost filled.
I want to move the "vmail" from present location(/var/vmail) to another partition which is mounted under "/" with all my old data, accounts and settings.
Please tell my if I move it, will it effect the pure-ftpd integration?
What will be the best scenario for me with some less pain... wink

A symbol link is the easiest way:

- Move old vmail directory to new location. Don't change file permission and owner/group.
- Link new location to old location as a symbol link.

No addition changes are required
