iRedMail-0.5.0 supports below Linux distributions:

Choose the one which you familiar with.

And, both i386 and x86_64/amd64 are supported, personally, x86_64/amd64 is recommended.

if for test , ram at least need 256, I think 512 m would better.

os, depend on you. iredmail now support centos, ubuntu and debian5

now I use the vps for test.
