How did you send emails? with port 587 or 25? If use port 587, try to avoid Amavisd by modify /etc/postfix/master.cf:
submission inet n - n - - smtpd
-o smtpd_tls_security_level=encrypt
-o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes
-o smtpd_client_restrictions=permit_mynetworks,permit_sasl_authenticated,reject
-o content_filter=smtp-amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10026

)Did some googling and some people mentioned about amavisd bug but that was in 2008. Wouldn't it be fair to assume that by 2012 those bugs are already patched? Am I looking at the wrong problem? Please advise? I'm very puzzled. Many thanks in advance for your help Mr. Zhang.
