another thing, can I update postfixadmin without having any issues? i mean would the database and configurations won't mess up if i do an update?

Which version of iRedMail do you use?
Roundcube in iRedMail-0.5.0-rc1 has this feature. Or you can install the lastest roundcube-0.3-svn version, it ships managesieve plugin which support vacation feature.

i mean if a user is on vacation and he or she wants to set a notification to all those who would email him / her will recieve that he or she is on vacation.

It's 1024000 bytes (1MB). The final result stored in MySQL will be: 1024000 * Quota (quota size you set in postfixadmin).
