I've performed a clean fresh installation with iRedAdmin PRO, I have a slow delivery of email from and to any email domain, internal or external. What do you think is?
How to disable greylist check?

Having issues when an email is blocked or quarantine it tries to send email to root@mail.domain.com. In the que it's stuck. I have tried to add a .forward in the home directory to forward but it did not work.

I ended up adding mail.domain.com in the iredadmin with a forward and that worked.  Any ideas what is the best to handle those emails and or if my solution would be the best or is there a setting in postfix?

I am wondering if anybody has upgraded to Roundcube 9.1? And if they had any issues?

I installed the new server email with version 0.8.4 (May 2013)

I have the old server in version 0.8.1 (June 2012)

On the new server I am having problem in readers e-mail with Microsoft Outlook 2011 specifically every time I send a message.

The following warning appears:

fail2ban is not enabled by default.
Steps.
1.- chkconfig fail2ban on
2.- /etc/init.d/fail2ban start
3.- edit vi /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/postfix.iredmail.conf
4.- add rule reject: RCPT from (.*)\[<HOST>\]: 504 5.5.2 at end of rules
5.- on /etc/sysconfig/iptables
6.- add #-A fail2ban-postfix  tcp  --  anywhere             anywhere             multiport dports smtp,ssmtp at end of rules

I am attempting to migrate our email hosting from one server to another, and I'm having a problem with the LDIF files created by the backup_openldap.sh script. I am using the version from 2012-09-05 from BitBucket. As part of the move, I have to edit the LDIF file to reflect the new server details. This can be done with find/replace - easy!

However, I am encountering a problem with the format of the original LDIF file.

For example, if we have a line that should read:

dn: ou=Users,domainName=mydomain.com.xx,o=domains,dc=serverhostname,dc=serverdomain,dc=xx

It will be split over two lines, as follows:

dn: ou=Users,domainName=mydomain.com.xx,o=domains,dc=serverhostname,dc=serverdomain,dc
=xx

A line such as:

homeDirectory: /var/vmail/vmail1/mydomain.com.xx/f/i/n/finch-2012.05.30.16.49.44/

Will appear as:

homeDirectory: /var/vmail/vmail1/mydomain.com.xx/f/i/n/finch-2012.05.30.
16.49.44/

Some investigation has shown me that this is due to the line being 80 columns, and a new line being formed for the 81st. This is true for the .ldiff on the server, as well as those copied via SFTP.

Slapdd does not like this, and fails when restoring from the ldif file.

Short of manually editing all 9000 lines of the document, does anybody have any tips as to how fix this problem? I'm not a programmer (at all) but I'm willing to bet there's a single line of Perl or something that will make the lines whole again.

Hello, I'm having a little trouble. I've got iRedMail installed and working properly however, I cannot get it to send emails outside of my own server.

What I mean by this is that I cannot send/receive emails to/from a gmail again. However, I CAN send/receive emails from other accounts on my server.

Most of the problems I see that other people have had is that they just can't receive emails. However, I cannot receive them either.

NOTE: I have disabled and removed the rule on greylisting in cluebringer and they do not show up after any period of time. Not sure what is wrong here. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using the iRedMail for few days and I'm very impressed with it. But now I'm planning to migrate some accounts and domains from an old server (around 30 domains and 100 accounts) to the new server with IRedMail. The old server run a Plesk 11 over a CentOS 5.8 and I'm using the "default" mail system provided by Plesk (and it's CentOS services).

I confess that I don't have idea about how can I move/copy/migrate the mail of my colleagues to the new server, including the address books of their accounts and for this I'm here asking for help.

If someone have a tutorial or some insights about how can I do it, I'm very happy.

[ERROR] MySQL username or password is incorrect in file /var/vmail/backup/backup_mysql.sh.
Please fix them first.

I check username and password and it's correct. I can without any problem login with username and password in that file to phpMyAdmin.

Any suggestions?

I'm running a VPS in DigitalOcean with Ubuntu Server 12.04.
Everything was working fine for more than 1 month. But in 05/17 the iredmail suddenly stoped working.
In the server I have two websites, the www.nudemail.tk with the iredmail, and the www.nudestay.com.br with a wordpress plataform.

I don't know why it stoped working, the last changes I made is to install a ftp server for wordpress, because it doesn't working fine without a ftp server. So, looking in my history:

192 apt-get install vsftpd

May is the a2enmod rewrite?
I don't know, the changes are in nudestay.com.br, a wordpress blog, not in nudemail.tk (the iredmail server).
Both are in the same server, may the rewrite or vsftpd would affect the iredmail functionality?

I have got a VPS running Postfix mail server on a remote address from my iRedMail server, on that VPS I wanted to allow for any mail coming from any application to be allowed to send mail through (relayhost) my server running iRedMail.

The logs are as below, using relayhost = emailrelayer.mydomain.com (the one running iRedMail) and using app settings would this alone allow me to use my iRedMail server as a relayhost at all?

I am a little bit confused about what I need to be setting up in iRedMail.

Any help's much appreciated, see below for full logs.
